Focus on the Family is sponsoring a new event just for women's renewal and refreshment in its one-day conference Renewing the Heart. Scheduled for September 20th in Nashville, Tennessee, the conference features speakers Patsy Clairmont, Shirley Dobson, Kay Cole James, Anne Graham Lotz, and Eva Whittington Self.
Music will be provided by StarSong recording artist Kim Hill, who will sing releases from her latest project, The Fire Again, and Sparrow's Cheri Keaggy, from her inspirational album, My Faith Will Stay. A special compilation project called Renewing the Heart from Sparrow Records, features these singers and other women artists performing songs of healing and spiritual refreshing. It will also be available at the conference.
Dr. James Dobson, head of Focus on the Family, describes the unique conference as a "one-day event to encourage, rejuvenate, and teach women as they seek to evaluate God's priorities for their lives."
A CLOSER LOOK has learned that all 18,000 tickets have been sold for the event; however, due to the overwhelming response of women to this conference, Focus on the Family will be hosting additional gatherings in the coming year.
