Chambers's Classic for Graduates
Oswald Chambers "entered into God's presence" in November 1917, and thereafter his wife selected the daily readings we have come to revere as My Utmost for His Highest from various lectures and talks her husband had given. As she writes in the foreword, "a large proportion of the readings have been chosen from the talks given during the Devotional Hour at the [Bible Training] College." In fact, many of the daily readings take on new meaning when you picture Chambers delivering them to an audience at a college, for example, his emphasis on missionary work and "Discovering Divine Designs."
How appropriate then that Chambers's most beloved work should be published in a special new journal edition for students. The large size of the book allows space for the daily reading and Scripture verse plus lines for writing a personal response entitled "My Utmost." This edition also has easy-to-use indexes of subjects and biblical references in the back.
