Part of the joy of the holidays is remembering Christmas past -- stringing popcorn, crackling fireplaces, special gifts, times shared with loved ones. In Christmas Memories, you're invited into the lives of Christian women from all walks of life as they recall special, sacred, and symbolic events from Christmas past and present. Plus, they share ideas for making Christmases yet to come something worth remembering for generations.
Compiled by Terry Meeuwsen, cohost of 700 Club, you'll also meet well-known Christian women -- from singers, writers, and missionaries to pastor's wives and homemakers -- each with a memory to share about the true meaning of Christmas and the unexpected blessing the season brings.
"It's Christmas -- the most wonderful time of year -- and we invite you to join us in reminiscing about the past, taking stock in the present, and looking forward to the future. Merry Christmas, from our hearts to yours!"
Terry says the Christmas season has always been an awe-filled, family-centered event at her house. Most important, she sees it as a time for spiritual renewal that celebrates the birth of the Savior.
Her albums include "Eyes of My Heart," "My Jesus I Love Thee," and "I Surrender All." Terry and her husband, Andy, have three sons -- Drew, J.P., and Tyler -- and a daughter, Troy.
Terry Meeuwsen is the coanchor of 700 Club and a former Miss America. She sang with the New Christy Minstrels, one of the 60's most popular folk groups. She also hosted The Terry Meeuwsen Show, a talkshow in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
