Hip, Hip, Hip Hippopotamus

While this handsome hardbound picture book doesn't have sound, it appeals wonderfully to the eyes in Wendy Francisco's clear colorful illustrations. Warm and friendly, they also entice young readers to find the hippos hidden in numerous drawings -- the waves of the ocean, the trees in the forest, the mountains, etc. And these hippos are always smiling as though they are so happy to be a part of this great creation -- whether God made them just for fun or not!

Music is suggested in the line of praise, "We can sing and say, 'Well done,'" along with an illustration showing children -- and a happy hippo -- singing. It's no surprise to read that Francisco is also a singer and songwriter.

This book is ideal for young children aged 2 to 5, who are becoming aware of the world around them, and for their parents who want to help them know God as the marvelous Creator He is.
