Robin Jones Gunn continues her popular Christy Miller Series with a spin-off. The Sierra Jensen Series introduces a new friend of Christy's, 16-year-old Sierra Jensen. The two girls meet on a mission trip to England and become fast friends. When they separate at the end of the journey, readers follow Sierra instead of Christy.

The series begins with Only You, Sierra. Sierra's family has moved to another state while she's been in England. She faces leaving behind her friends and popularity as she and her large family start a new life. On her journey back to the states, Sierra meets handsome Paul, a college student in her new town. Sparks fly when sassy Sierra confronts Paul about choices he makes.

In the second book, In Your Dreams, Sierra begins to make friends, searches for a job, and has her first date, though not with Paul. But her thoughts and prayers are with him as she spots him around town and corresponds with him through hasty letters.

Girls aged 12-16 will love Sierra and her bold, funky style. Let's just hope Robin Jones Gunn adds to The Sierra Jensen Series soon!
