C. Archer has added two more books to Catherine Marshall's Christy Series. These books, based on the original Christy, have expanded story elements that make them popular with 10-to 14-year-old girls.

Book five in the series, The Proposal, finds David Grantland, the handsome preacher, on his knees proposing marriage to young Christy Huddleston. Before Christy can give an answer, she's blinded in a terrible riding accident. Now she faces the uncertainty of a life in darkness.

In Christy's Choice, Christy is offered a teaching job in her hometown. She must decide between the comforts of home and her love for the mountains and her friends there. A train accident and the rescue of a friend help her make her decision.
