Eyes on the Hereafter

Have you thought about heaven lately? Lots of people have over the years, and Honor Books has collected a great many of the best and most insightful quotations to reveal its mysteries in A Little Bit of Heaven.

With excerpts from the Apostle Paul, C.H. Spurgeon, C.S. Lewis, Joni Eareckson Tada, Isaac Watts, and a host of other faithful witnesses, A Little Bit of Heaven offers a fantastic variety, which is nonetheless unified in its scriptural basis. Reading from such a variety of Christian writers stamps the concept of heaven clearly in our minds.

Although the book is more a gift item than a theological explanation, the excerpts from Christians through the ages offer much in the way of sure knowledge and comfort. For example, Billy Graham writes, "I'm not worried about where it [heaven] is. I know it is going to be where Jesus is." Other quotations are from well-known stories, hymns, and poems. All point us toward the hereafter.

It can be read by "little bits" or as a whole. The design marks it clearly as a gift book; yet it isn't fussy or overly fancy. The type is clear and readable. Some pages are designed as poster pages with decorated edges around a short quotation in large lettering.

Any day is a good day for A Little Bit of Heaven.
